The Life That Is Out Of Focus - Picture Poem by Lē Weaver

text of the picture poem:

the life that is out of focus
the life that is a million miles deep
and thin as an eyelash
that life is not centered here
that life has shifted away

when I travel to meet Her
I am nothing but dismembered muscle
raw and tender, leaking the wine of my soul
I am nothing but garnet tears
and childhood pleading
eyes wide with knowing
that this misunderstanding will not be soon settled.
